Porcelain Veneers

Patients with stained, damaged, and even crooked teeth have improved their smiles with porcelain veneers. Nick-named “instant orthodontics”, porcelain veneers are able to correct a wide variety of esthetic flaws with ease! These thin shells of porcelain are bonded to the fronts of the teeth, enhancing their appearance while masking dental issues such as:

  • Chips/cracks
  • Staining/discoloration
  • Unevenly spaced/ crooked teeth
  • Misshapen/worn teeth

Due to their versatility, nearly anyone experiencing the above concerns can be considered a candidate for dental veneers.

The Porcelain Veneers Procedure

The dental veneers procedure is typically completed in three simple appointments.

During your first visit, we will determine if you are a candidate for dental veneers by examining your teeth and oral health.

You will return to have your teeth prepped by removing a small fraction of the tooth structure to accommodate the veneer. We will take a mold of the effected tooth or teeth to send to the laboratory where your custom veneer will be crafted. You will receive a temporary veneer to wear in the meantime.

Once your brand new porcelain veneers are ready, you will come back to office for the placement and bonding. Your veneer(s) will match the shape, size, and color as the rest of your teeth, ensuring that your smile looks natural and healthy. With proper care and upkeep, your porcelain veneers will give you a dazzling smile for many years to come.
